Košice International Airport (KSC) is approximately 6 km from the apartment. From the airport, take Bus 23 (€1.20–€1.40 ticket from the machine), a Bolt ride (€6–9), or a taxi (around €18). The journey takes 10–15 minutes by car.

By Train
Košice main railway station is just 500 metres from the apartment — a 6-minute walk. Direct train services connect Košice to major European cities, making rail a comfortable and scenic way to arrive.

From the station, it's a flat, straightforward 6-minute walk to Svätoplukova Street, or one stop on bus 17/19.
By Car
If you're driving, the apartment includes a free, dedicated parking bay directly in front of the building on Svätoplukova Street. No fees, no permits, no circling for street parking — just pull up and park. Self check-in via lockbox means you can arrive on your own schedule.
Public Transport
The city's public transport system (DPMK) is simple and affordable.
A 60-minute ticket costs €1.40 from a ticket machine (a 30-minute ticket is €1.20; SMS tickets cost €1.50 and need a Slovak SIM) and covers buses and trams across the city. Machines are at the stops; tickets are also sold in the DPMK mobile app.

Bolt operates widely in Košice — typical rides within the city cost €4–9. Taxis are also available at the station and airport.
Host tips from Peter: the bus stop right in front of the house is Pošta 2, served by lines 17 and 19. Short Bolt hops around central Košice often come to about €3 (the app shows the price upfront). Getting Around
Košice is a walkable city, but when you want to go further, shared e-scooters and ride-hailing apps are all available right from the apartment doorstep.
You can walk everywhere in central Košice from Svätoplukova Street — the Old Town is a 5-minute walk away, the City Park is next door, and the railway station is a 6-minute walk. If you have a car, the dedicated parking bay in front of the building is free for the duration of your stay. For everything else, these apps have you covered.
Košice's homegrown sharing service with 1,000+ electric scooters across the city (its shared e-bikes were withdrawn in 2026). Scooters are placed in the city centre, at the train station, and in City Park — right next to the apartment. €0.22/min (€0.12/min for ANTIK customers).

Bolt operates ride-hailing and electric scooters throughout Košice. Typical rides within the city cost €4–9, and e-scooters are available in the centre and at City Park. Bolt also has self-service TapBox kiosks at Košice Airport for travellers without the app.

Uber is also available in Košice as an alternative to Bolt for ride-hailing. Useful for comparing prices during peak times or when demand is high.
